Join Preservation Texas, AIA El Paso, and WiA for a bone chilling walking tour shedding light on the haunting history of building demolition in downtown El Paso.

The tour starts and ends at the Preservation Texas West Texas Heritage Center (201 E. San Antonio Ave.) and will be led by Architectural Historian D.J. Sevigny. Funeral attire is encouraged for a somber, silly and striking walk reflecting on the devastating destruction of several of El Paso’s historic buildings.

After the tour, return to the West Texas Heritage Center for a “wake” reception to pay your respects to our dearly departed buildings and to share your own architectural HORROR STORIES. Light refreshments will be provided.
