Intervention Request

Would you like to request intervention or assistance from PT?

Intervention Policy

As the advocate for the historic and cultural resources of Texas, Preservation Texas will support other like-minded organizations and individuals who are in the midst of an advocacy or preservation challenge. As a statewide organization, we can more effectively intervene if the challenge meets certain criteria that align with our mission.

Please fill out the intervention request form below and we will be in touch soon.

Regional Offices

In 2022, PT's Board of Directors agreed to move to a regional office model for the delivery of preservation education and technical assistance programs. Historic preservation is intensely local and site-specific, and regional offices will enable PT to have a more direct and sustained impact across the state.

To date, PT has established a Central Texas Office based in San Marcos, as well as a Northeast Texas Office based in Tyler. Existing offices have been made possible by the support of the Burdine Johnson Foundation (Central Texas), the Dealey Family Foundation and the Summerlee Foundation (Northeast Texas).

Additional regional offices will open as funding becomes available. A West Texas Office is expected to open in El Paso in 2024.
