Our volunteers make it possible to carry out the Preservation Texas programs that celebrate the heritage of Texas. Volunteering is an opportunity for you to utilize your talents for the benefit of the community. It also provides an excellent opportunity to explore the talents you probably didn’t know you had!

If you would like to become a volunteer with Preservation Texas, please complete the volunteer information form—then, fax, email, or call us at 512.472.0102, so we can find out more about your interests and discuss your schedule.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Staff Support
We are always grateful for an extra pair of hands to help out with mailings, membership, planning special events and a variety of other tasks. Only skill required is a positive attitude with a flexible schedule when you are available.

Special Events
Our special event volunteers have a great time. Choose the event(s) that works best for your schedule, including the annual Preservation Summit, Preservation and announcement of the Texas’ Most Endangered Places. It’s a fun way to get involved and to attend some great events!

Marketing/Graphics
If you are good with graphics, know how to create messages to reach new members and sponsors, or want to try your hand at the weekly e-newsletter and other marketing outreach programs, we could use your assistance in the office.
