San Jacinto School House

Before

After

The San Jacinto School House was saved through the efforts of the West Sandy Community Association. Constructed in 1948, the three-room school replaced an earlier structure built in 1913. This school, and the Crabbs Prairie School House, are said to be the only surviving rural school houses in Walker County.
