2018 Preservation Texas Summit Session Proposals Due Nov. 17th

The Ringgold Civic Pavilion overlooking the resaca will be the site of educational sessions at the 2018 Preservation Texas Summit in Brownsville.

Preservation Texas seeks a broad range of proposals for the 2018 Preservation Texas Summit which will be held February 25-28, 2018 in Brownsville, Texas.  We expect over 200 participants to attend, including preservation professionals in government and private practice, historians, architects, contractors, engineers, community activists, historic property owners, real estate professionals, academics and students.

Education sessions, regional field sessions and workshops will take place on Monday, February 26th and Tuesday, February 27th.  We are looking for engaging and innovative full and half-day local and regional tours, half-day hands-on workshops, and 30-60-minute case study and research presentations, panel discussions, roundtable discussions, and similar formats.

All speakers will have their Summit registration fees waived.  Very limited travel reimbursement may be available, depending on sponsorship support.

Session proposals will be due no later than close of business (5:00 pm CST) on Friday, November 17, 2017.
